Novartis Campus Plus

The project Novartis Campus Plus accelerates the development of northern Basel. These areas have been under development for a long time, but the Novartis Campus and other infrastructural projects which are under way in the area allow city development on a grander scale. In the project, three new parks are connected by a boardwalk. All of them have a direct connection to the river. The newly installed tramway connects that axis with the nearby French border. By proposing two new bridges the promenade establishes a connection with two other important development areas on the opposite side of the river: the port of Kleinhüningen and the Klybeckquai. Both areas will be developed in the near future as well.
