Masterplan Unterfeld

'Unterfeld' is one of the last remaining undeveloped areas between the cities of Zug and Baar. Within the future development the two communities will grow together to form an urban entity.

The basic idea of the project is to implement a large and central park. This park generates an urban space which is unique in this area and the surrounding neighborhoods; therefore, it creates both a specific identity for the surrounding buildings and a new central space next to the local train station.

The park is framed by small allies which allow access to all new buildings. Due to its size of approximately 100 x 200 meters, the urban park can be used in many different ways allowing multiple programs to take place.

The buildings surrounding the park include a hotel, office, commercial and residential space with a total floor area of approximately 100.000 m2.
